We got our dog Kobe about 10 months ago.  He is an older Akita that our family rescued.  Kathie has taken care of him on several occasions.  Most recently we were away last week for a family trip out of the country.  While we were away Kobe got sick and had stopped eating.  Not only did Kathie let us know promptly and keep us updated, she also used her experience to realize that Kobe needed to see the Veterinarian sooner rather than later.  He was treated and all is well.  I would say that if you are looking for an experienced provider for your pets while you are away, look no further than Kathie.  She will tend to your pet as if it were her own pet.  You can have that peace of mind while you are away and not have to worry about your pet family.

Our shy English Springer Spaniel does not trust many people and will not even go outside for friends and neighbors, but she loves Kathie, who has a sweet, loving demeanor, which is perfect for our dog.  Kathie makes sure to spend the entire time with our pet and give her the love and attention she deserves in our absence.  She also follows any particular instructions and is happy to cut up special vegetable treats. We always return to a happy dog with no anxiety issues and a clean house.  Thank you, Kathie, for going above and beyond to make sure our girl is well-cared for in our absence!

When you won't be home and need care for your baby/babies, Kathie & Scott are two of the best people I know for that job.  Maggie is a rescue who always had someone home with her for her first three years with our family.  After my husband passed and I was lucky enough to obtain full time work, I needed someone to take care of my Maggie while I was gone.  This was the first time in all the years I've owned dogs that I was going to rely on someone else for her needs.  I'll admit I was a bit nervous at first as I'm a neurotic mom but it's been a little over five months now and I could not ask for anything more.  They are very reliable and I can tell when I get home that Maggie has had a fun day with Scott. Scott from A Puppy's Prayer has cat-sitted for me on multiple occasions, from full cat-sitting during several week vacations to kitty litter cleaning while I was away at a conference, as my husband is allergic to cats and can't clean the litter himself. I always worry about my kitties when I'm away from home--have they hurt themselves? are they happy? have they run out of water?--so it's a huge relief to have A Puppy's Prayer looking after them when we're away from home for more than a day or so. Scott always makes sure to check in via text and to leave a note for us when we return home so we know just how the kitties were while we were gone.

One of the best aspects of A Puppy's Prayer, though--one I haven't seen in any other pet service--is the incredibly convenient online request system. I hate using the phone because my schedule is strange, so I always end up playing phone tag, and miscommunications about dates and times inevitably happen. No need to worry about any of that with the online system A Puppy's Prayer uses.

In short--A Puppy's Prayer makes the entire stressful process of finding sitters for your beloved pets while you're away from home as simple and stress-free as it could be. Highly recommended!

We also loved and really appreciated the letter Scott left about Hattie.  With Penny's passing, and Hattie being alone for the first time we were worried about her. We are very grateful that Scott took so much time to play, walk and send messages about how Hattie was doing.

When we returned home Hattie was obviously well taken care of, but stuck by our sides for a few days not wanting to let us out of sight. SO we took her to the beach and spoiled her rotten!!! Walks on beach, runs in the waves, walks through the woods and playing catch!  She is starting to act more like herself every day.

Having a large, skittish and often intimidating dog makes it hard to find someone who is comfortable around him and who I feel confident leaving him with. But Scott with a Puppy's Prayer was just that person! He was very calm and patient with Rondo and even stopped by an extra time to hang out with him before we went on vacation so that they were well acquainted with each other. Scott kept in contact while we were away to keep me posted on anything I should know and my two cats and dog were in good health and spirits when I returned home. Knowing my boys were well taken care of helped take a lot of stress off of traveling! I won't hesitate to use them again when I head out of town in the future. 

A Puppy's Prayer run by the Fowler's is wonderful!  They have taken care of our animals several times and always I have felt very comfortable that our Bo, Buster and Ginger were in good hands and well cared for.  This summer we traveled to California and that was a long ways away from home.  I was very nervous about the entire trip but not the care of our animals.  I know when we leave them with A Puppy's Prayer that they are well cared for.  They look out for their well being and will let us know if there is anything concerning going on with our animals or at our home.  Thank you Scott and Kathie for taking such good care of our animals.

Kathie and Scott are the best! They have been taking care of our sweet boy McDuff (aka Mac) for many years, both during the week while we work and on weekends when we go away. It was a blessed day for us and all of our friends when we contacted Kathie and Scott!  They have been taking care of our assortment of animals (cat, dogs, chickens, calf and pigs) for going on 2 years.  They are a lovely and loving couple. We do not worry about taking our trips when we know that they will be looking after everyone; their visits provide us with such peace of mind.  It is wonderful not to burden our other friends with coming to our home every day while we are away. We adopted a puppy about 4 weeks ago.  A Puppy's Prayer has been wonderful coming to let the puppy out and play with her mid day.  This has helped greatly take the stress off of me while I am at work.  It has really helped with her house training as well.  My older dog appreciates the break too.   I highly recommend A Puppy's Prayer.  The service is great and I feel very comfortable with Scott and Kathie in my home during the day.

Love these folks!  They've always taken very good care of my pets, and my pets haven't always been the easiest to handle (another service couldn't get them under control one vacation, and we returned home to pee everywhere and a destroyed sofa.  We had to call in A Puppy's Prayer to rescue the rest of the house while we were away).
